Afeez Fashola, commonly known as Naira Marley, has issued a threat to sue Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo for the sum of N500 million. Represented by Olalekan Ojo (SAN) & Co, Naira Marley sent a letter to Iyabo accusing her of disseminating false and malicious content about him on her Instagram account. The letter highlighted an Instagram post from September 2023 in which Iyabo alleged that Naira Marley engaged in spiritual and physical dealings with the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The singer’s legal representative further claimed that Iyabo accused Naira Marley of causing mental harm to Mohbad. In the letter, the lawyer insisted that the actress publicly apologize on her official Instagram account and in a national daily within seven days of receiving the letter.

Failure to comply within the stipulated time would prompt Naira Marley’s legal team to initiate legal proceedings, seeking damages of N500 million from the actress. The letter served as a formal notice of intent to pursue legal action, as indicated below.
