
The Ogun Police Command has launched a series of events to mark National Police Day, scheduled for April 7, 2025, in accordance with the declaration by Inspector General of Police, Dr. Kayode Egbetokun. This initiative follows a presidential directive to establish an annual National Police Day to honor the invaluable contributions and dedication of police officers to nation-building.
In a statement, CSP Omolola Oditola, the spokesperson for the Ogun Police Command, said the occasion will also be used to strengthen partnerships with local communities and foster public trust through Police-Public Engagement.

- Launch of the reconstruction of the POWA Acquisition Centre at the Command Headquarters, Eleweran.

- Town hall meeting with key stakeholders to discuss security challenges and explore collective solutions.

- Community Engagement: Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers will engage with the public on the significance of National Police Day.
Saturday, April 5, 2025
- Free Medical Services: Health services will be offered to community members to promote public health.
- Sanitation and Cleanup of public spaces.
CSP Oditola extended a warm invitation to members of the public to join in the celebration and take part in the various events.
