Police Recover Body of Man Abducted from Farm in Anambra

Operatives of the Anambra State Police Command have recovered the lifeless body of Ozor Augustine Chido, who was allegedly abducted from his piggery farm in Nimo community.

According to police reports, Chido was kidnapped on the morning of June 19, 2025, while at his farm. Despite efforts by the police to rescue him, his body was tragically discovered near the same location on June 23, 2025.

The remains have been deposited at a morgue for further examination.

Confirming the incident, the Command’s spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, expressed condolences to the victim’s family and the Nimo community. He assured the public that the police are committed to bringing the perpetrators to justice and will leave no stone unturned in their investigation.
