Sanwo-Olu declares a ₦10 million prize for a LASU law graduate attaining a perfect 5.0 CGPA.

Aminat Yusuf, a student at LASU, has accomplished an extraordinary feat by attaining a perfect CGPA in Law, making her the first undergraduate in 40 years to achieve this milestone. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State recognized her remarkable achievement and announced a reward of ₦10 million for her outstanding performance.

During the convocation ceremony held at LASU’s Ojo campus on June 22, 2023, Governor Sanwo-Olu praised Aminat’s academic brilliance and pledged a personal donation of ₦5 million to her. Additionally, he revealed that the State government would match his donation with another ₦5 million.

Expressing her gratitude, Aminat acknowledged the financial challenges she faced during her studies but credited her determination, the support of her lecturers, and her commitment to hard work for her success. Her exceptional achievement in attaining a perfect CGPA of 5.0 in Law at LASU has garnered widespread acclaim from both the academic community and beyond.

Governor Sanwo-Olu previously expressed his admiration for Aminat’s dedication, emphasizing that her hard work has truly paid off.
