Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has been nominated for the CAF Men’s Player of the Year award after another outstanding season.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the 10-man shortlist on Wednesday for the 2025 CAF Awards, set to take place in Marrakech, Morocco, for the third consecutive year.

Osimhen, the 2023 winner of the prestigious award, is joined on the list by Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah of Egypt and Paris Saint-Germain’s Achraf Hakimi of Morocco, among other top performers across the continent.

The Nigerian forward enjoyed a brilliant season with Galatasaray, firing the club to the Turkish Super Lig title with 26 league goals. His incredible form also earned him a record €75 million permanent transfer from Napoli to the Turkish champions.
