Nollywood actor and producer Femi Adebayo has shared the turning point that led him to leave a career in law for the world of acting.
In a candid interview with Pulse, Adebayo revealed that he was earning just N20,000 per month as a practicing lawyer when a brief acting job shifted his perspective entirely.
“Acting was just a hobby back then,” he said. “But then I got offered N50,000 to act for only three days. Meanwhile, my salary as a lawyer for the whole month was N20,000. That’s when I told myself, ‘Femi, acting is your true calling.’”
That single moment marked a major shift in his life, as he fully embraced the entertainment industry—a path deeply influenced by his natural talent and the legacy of his father, legendary actor Adebayo Salami, popularly known as Oga Bello.
Since then, Femi Adebayo has risen to become one of Nollywood’s most respected actors and producers, known for his dynamic roles and dedication to the craft.
