#AnambraDecides: Soludo Defeats Peter Obi in His Polling Unit

The incumbent governor of Anambra State and candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has won at the polling unit of Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi.

Obi, a former governor of the state, cast his vote at Umudimakasi, Agulu Ward 2, Polling Unit 008, where residents and supporters had gathered earlier to welcome him.

According to results announced by the presiding officer, Soludo secured 19 votes, defeating his closest rival, Nicholas Chukwujekwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 10 votes.

The Young Progressives Party (YPP) garnered 4 votes, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) received 1 vote.
