At an event introducing Saudi Arabia’s first humanoid male robot, Muhammad, an inappropriate incident occurred when the robot appeared to touch the butt of a female reporter.
The incident took place during a tech event in Riyadh, where the robot was showcased. While TV journalist Rawya Kassem was delivering her report, Muhammad was seen standing behind her on a platform. In the midst of her report, the robot’s hand made contact with her backside.
Rawya reacted by turning back and gesturing for the robot to stop, giving it a stern look before continuing her report. Muhammad’s appearance is remarkably realistic, resembling a man wearing traditional attire.
