President Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Two-Week Vacation in France

President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, following a two-week vacation in Paris, France.

He arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, where he was welcomed by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule.

Tinubu had departed Nigeria on September 4, 2025, for his annual vacation, originally scheduled to be split between France and the United Kingdom. During his stay in Paris, he held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace.

On Monday, September 15, the presidency announced that the President would be cutting short his trip and returning to Nigeria the following day.
