Senator Shehu Sani has called on Nigerian youths to actively participate in politics to help build the country they envision.
In a Facebook post, Sani advised young people not to waste their youth on social media or merely leaving comments online.
He encouraged them to aim for political office and play a direct role in shaping the nation according to their aspirations.
“Dear Young People,
Everyone you see in government and in the opposition were your age back in 1999 when they ran for office and are now leading you. Don’t waste your youthful years on social media or the comment sections. Aspire to contest elections and shape the country in line with your dreams.”
