Ibrahim Salisu, identified as the perpetrator, has been apprehended by the Ogun State Police Command for the alleged machete killing of his elder brother, Malaimi Yellow. The incident occurred around 11:00 p.m. on Friday, December 29, in the Araromi Street, Sango-Ota area. Yellow, a 54-year-old man, was reportedly persistently demanding sexual favors from his younger brother, leading to Salisu resorting to violence and fatally striking him with a machete.
Upon his arrest, Salisu confessed to the crime. The Ogun State Police Command has transported the victim’s body to the Ifo General Hospital Mortuary for an anticipated autopsy. Odutola Omolola, the spokesperson for the command, informed Punch that the case will be transferred once the preliminary investigation is concluded.
