Nigerian sprint hurdler Tobi Amusan produced another outstanding performance on Sunday, winning the women’s 100m hurdles at the Paris Diamond League with a season’s best time of 12.27 seconds (+0.7m/s).

The world record holder comfortably finished ahead of American Grace Stark, who crossed the line in 12.38 seconds, while fellow American Alaysha Johnson claimed third place with a time of 12.39 seconds.

The victory marked the third time this season that Amusan has recorded 12.27 seconds, highlighting her remarkable consistency on the Diamond League circuit.

The 29-year-old had previously posted the same winning time at the Xiamen and Rabat Diamond League meetings earlier this year.

Amusan’s latest triumph further strengthens her position as one of the favourites heading into the Diamond League Final, with her consistent performances reaffirming her place among the world’s elite sprint hurdlers this season.
